Join fellow GSAPP alumni for the annual Summer Social, as we celebrate the work of 2017 Young Architects Program winner, Jenny Sabin.
Sabin will speak about her work on this year’s temporary outdoor installation at MoMA PS1 in conversation with GSAPP faculty members Christoph Kumpusch and Andrés Jaque, winner of the Young Architects Prize 2015.
The conversation will be followed by a reception in the installation, with a DJ set by Tom Noble (Superior Elevation).
Register to attend.
Jenny Sabin’s work is at the forefront of a new direction for 21st century architectural practice — one that investigates the intersections of architecture and science, and applies insights and theories from biology and mathematics to the design of material structures. The Young Architects Program (YAP), is an annual competition hosted by The Museum of Modern Art and MoMA PS1 that fosters innovative architecture. The winning design by Jenny Sabin will be on view at MoMA PS1 during the summer 2017.
