Dear Preservation Program Alumni and Friends, I hope this message finds you well. I am pleased to invite you to attend this year’s **Paul S. Byard Memorial Lecture**, featuring **Flores & Prats Architects**, on **Thursday, February 13, at 6:30 PM** in Wood Auditorium at Columbia GSAPP. As you know, the Byard Lecture honors the legacy of our former Director Paul Byard by bringing visionary architects and preservationists to GSAPP to discuss the evolving relationship between design and preservation. This year’s speakers, the Barcelona based architects **Flores & Prats**, are renowned for their thoughtful approach to adaptive reuse, materiality, and the social life of buildings—offering a perspective that deeply resonates with our profession. You can find more details about the lecture [here](https://www.arch.columbia.edu/events/3735-the-paul-s-byard-memorial-lecture-flores-prats-architects) and the history of the Byard Memorial Lecture [here](https://www.arch.columbia.edu/byard-lectures).
