The biggest GSAPP party of the year welcomes alumni from across programs and generations. This year, we celebrate the Reunions of Classes ending in ‘4s and ‘9s. A special nod goes to Raymond Irrera and Herbert Oppenheimer for serving as Reunion Leaders for their Class of 1954!

Besides food, drink, a live DJ and GIF booth, below are some highlights to look forward to.

The GSAPP All Alumni Party will take over the PUBLIC’s 17th floor private event space with incredible 360-degree views of the city.

PUBLIC is a new hotel designed by Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron located at 215 Chrystie Street in New York’s Bowery district. The hotel was the 2018 Winner for Lobby & Public Spaces in the Americas by global, peer-juried Awards for Hospitality, Experience and Design (AHEAD).

Alumni Honoree Rosanne Haggerty ‘89 MSRED will give the keynote. An American housing and community development leader, Rosanne launched Community Solutions in 2011, where she is now President and Chief Executive Officer. The organization brings together multiple sectors and partners with neighborhoods to create new infrastructures to affect social change for their specific communities.

Rosanne’s work has been recognized with the World Habitat Award, the National Design Award, the Jane Jacobs Medal and featured in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, Stanford Social Innovation Review and on 60 Minutes. She is a MacArthur Foundation Fellow, Japan Society Public Policy Fellow, Ashoka Senior Fellow and Schwab Foundation Social Entrepreneur.

Bangkok-based artist Douglas Diaz ‘98 MSAAD will be on site to create a new piece over the course of the evening that explores the concept of Belonging, in acknowledgement and celebration of graduates’ lifelong association with the GSAPP community.
