Lee Schaffler

Lee Schaffler, CFA, is an Executive Director in the Global Real Assets Group at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. He oversees a portfolio of wholly owned and joint venture commercial real estate investments across the U.S. with a focus on retail, as well as office, multifamily, and mixed-use property types. Lee was previously an associate portfolio manager at J.P. Morgan, with responsibility for investing the real estate allocation of a large U.S. corporate pension fund client. Prior to that, he worked in J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s Global Asset Allocation Group. Lee earned a B.S. from Cornell University and an M.S. from Columbia University. Lee was awarded the HEAA Young Alumni Achievement award from Cornell University. Lee is a CFA charterholder. He also holds the LEED GA designation. Lee is a member of various industry organizations including ICSC, ULI, NYPEN, CFAI, and NYSSA. Lee is the Chairman of ICSC’s NEXUS Conference. Previously he served on the program planning committee for ICSC’s NOI+ Conference.
