Tuesday Talks is an opportunity for the GSAPP Students to connect with the larger Alumni community for informational mentorship this summer. The program pairs current students with alumni professionals for hour-long, one-on-one conversations about career development.


Meet the Firm: JJP Architects and Planners/Giant Group Global HQ

David Lee ‘02 M.Arch will introduce the firm JJP Architects and Planners with an in-depth look at the recently completed Giant Group Global Headquarters, for which he served as Project Architect. The firm was founded 40 years ago by Joshua Jih Pan, FAIA ‘67 M.Arch, recipient of Taiwan’s National Award for Arts in 2015 and the benefactor of a new scholarship fund at GSAPP. The Tamer Center for Social Enterprise at Columbia Business School is now accepting applications for the Tamer Fund for Social Ventures.

This fund provides seed grants of up to $25,000 to nonprofit, for-profit, and hybrid early-stage social and environmental ventures. Tamer Fund seed grants will be made to approximately seven ventures each year. A live information session will be held on Tuesday, July 27 at 1:00 PM.
