Spring Semester Volunteer Opportunities
Columbia GSAPP is so grateful for the dozens of alumni volunteers that bring so many of our programs to life each year. Please consider raising your hand to participate in one of the following programs this Spring:
Regional Ambassadors
Regional Ambassadors serve as a resource and partner in year-round admissions events and recruitment efforts. We are seeking volunteers that reflect our global student body and available to participate in online programs, by phone, or in regional events. For more information, contact Esther Turay (et2169@columbia.edu).
Tuesday TalksTuesday Talks is an opportunity for the GSAPP Students to connect with the larger alumni community for hour-long, one-on-one conversations about career development. The opportunity to speak about the job market with trusted alumni—including those in other American cities and international locations—is invaluable to emerging practitioners. To volunteer as a mentor, send a note to gsappalumni@columbia.edu with your job title, company name, and location.

Watch Anytime
“You’ll never find talking heads or voice-over or off-camera commentaries: we always show the raw stuff. Our purpose is to investigate the different possibilities that the building could create, deny or impose and indeed to explore which ones are created regardless of the original project.” –Ila Bêka and Louise Lemoine
Filmmakers Ila Bêka and Louise Lemoine presented their body of work, renowned for disrupting typical representations of contemporary architecture and the urban environment, to an audience at Avery Hall earlier this week. Following the lecture, they were joined in conversation by Mark Wasiuta, Co-Director of the Critical, Curatorial, and Conceptual Practices Program at GSAPP.
Missed the lecture? Visit the Columbia GSAPP page on YouTube to view past events. For upcoming programs, please check the GSAPP website.
