A lecture by Gaetano Pesce with response by Dean Amale Andraos. An Italian architect, planner and industrial designer, Pesce has been working in New York since 1980. Renown for his use of color, innovated materials, and social-political commentary, Pesce is a pioneer of 20th-century design whose aesthetic influence is evident in today’s industrial design with multidisciplinary designs in permanent collections at preeminent design institutions all over the world.
