Sharan Babani ’22 MSRED, Director at Satguru Builders, was recognized by CREDAI MCHI at the Procurement Excellence Celebrations 2025 for his leadership, design innovation, and progressive impact on India’s real estate industry. The Satguru Brothers recently completed Rendezvous, an award-winning 22-story residential tower in Bandra designed by NUDES (pictured). Its sculptural pink façade and layered terraces host a new urban ecology where city living, vegetation, and public presence overlap within the vertical fabric of the city. The recognition marks a significant moment in Babani’s ongoing work to integrate architectural expression and urban responsibility within India’s high-density environments.

Joseph Dabbah ’17 MSRED, founder of Newark Film Studios, was recently profiled in The Hollywood Reporter for his role in transforming a 1930s bank in downtown Newark into a state-of-the-art production hub (mezzanine, pictured). Conceived as a filmmaker’s blank canvas, the adaptive reuse project supports large-scale film and television productions while catalyzing Newark’s emergence as a center for creative industry.

Under Dabbah’s leadership, Newark Film Studios has hosted major productions including West Side Story, A Complete Unknown, and The Equalizer. The studio’s design embraces flexibility, accessibility, and a strong connection to the city’s architectural heritage.
