Walter Cain 15’ M.Arch, principal of Cain & Nico, is featured in The Wall Street Journal for a new low–embodied-carbon residence in São Paulo, Brazil. The project replaces conventional steel and concrete with mass timber, minimizing material emissions while integrating a series of outdoor rooms that respond to the region’s climate. The house highlights Cain’s continued focus on environmentally responsive construction and site-specific design.
