As the summer continues, GSAPP remains active with lectures, conversations, and opportunities that extends the school beyond Avery Hall.

The MSCDP Conversations with Practitioners brings together designers, technologists, and architects whose work reflects a wide range of contemporary practices and perspectives.

Lucia Rebolino ‘23 MSCDP is an artist, architect and research-based computational designer. She is currently a Researcher with Forensic Architecture in London.

Deborah Lopez and Hadin Charbel are founders of Pareid, an interdisciplinary design and research studio whose work addresses topics related to climate, ecology, policy and storytelling through what they refer to as “Alternate Endings”.

Lopez and Charbel will present the lecture “Climate F�ictions” for AAD Arguments. They will be introduced by Beril Sarisakal Erkent, with responses by Uriel Fogué and AAD students.

David Vega-Barachowitz is an Associate Principal and the Director of Urban Design at WXY studio, where he leads the firm’s urban design, master planning, and mobility practice. At WXY, he has led several of New York City’s most complex planning efforts, including the NYC Greenways Plan, the Brooklyn Marine Terminal Master Plan, the BQE Corridor Vision, and the Meatpacking District Public Realm Plan.

Tuesday Talks, July 14, is an opportunity for recent grads to connect with the larger Alumni community for informational mentorship this summer.
