Fall 2018 Semester
On the occasion of welcoming our 4th class of alumni members at the GSAPP Incubator at NEW INC, we kick off the new semester with Friday’s discussion on changing the status quo in arts, technology, and design entrepreneurship, culminating with a lecture by GSAPP alumnus Evan Sharp. Evan Sharp

Evan Sharp is the co-founder of Pinterest, where he uses his background to lead the front-end creative and design teams. He previously worked at Facebook as a product designer, received a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Chicago and studied architecture at Columbia GSAPP.

Among other materials, it features original photographs, correspondence, and ephemera from Columbia University Avery Architectural & Fine Arts Library’s archives of architects Harvey Wiley Corbett and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill; photographer Louis Checkman; and especially the pioneering model maker Theodore Conrad. |
