Columbia Giving Day, an annual 24-hour online fundraising event, represents one of the most significant ways the GSAPP community gives back.

Last year, the School saw a surge in participation and dollars raised.

Our donors secured more than $20,000 of additional funds from University Trustees, the GSAPP Alumni Board, and generous individuals through various challenges, including contests for most donations from Graduates of the Last Decade and Raising the Bar in increased participation.

Launched in 2017, Columbia GSAPP’s Design Create Engage Campaign builds on the School’s leadership in supporting new concepts to empower the next generation of architects, planners, urban designers and real estate developers. The goals of the campaign are a direct reflection of the intellectual talents of the School’s faculty and students as well as the resolve of GSAPP’s alumni and friends to have a greater impact on the future of the built environment.

Arch & UD Career Services requests the participation of GSAPP alumni and design professionals to review students’ work samples and resumes during the Professional Portfolio Review on November 16. The workshop is intended to offer students critical feedback and the chance to practice interviewing and networking skills during pre-scheduled 25 minute interviews.

Columbia University alumni are invited to an exclusive tour of the new V&A Dundee Museum, led by Maurizio Mucciola ‘07 MSAAD of PiM.studio Architects. Maurizio was the project architect in charge of delivering the revolutionary building together with Kengo Kuma & Associates. The project has already won a number of prizes for its innovative design and stunning form, including a RIBA National Award 2019. Dinner at The Doric to follow.
