Alexandra Gonzalez ‘11 MSAUD, President and Co-Founder at Hive Public Space, will close out the first season of Alumni Conversations. Join by video chat as she share plans for Barreled, an art installation that celebrates Virginia Beach’s surfing culture and takes inspiration from one of the most sought out and short-lived experiences in surfing: riding through the barrel of a wave. This piece was created in an effort to activate an under-utilized lot and transform the perception and use of the space.

We appreciate this week’s Alumni Conversationalist Adam Nourafchan '16 MSRED, associate at Terra Capital Partners, for sharing honest insights into the current state of the real estate private equity industry. He also recounted how vital the MSRED alumni community was for him to land his first job and successfully pivot careers. Adam strongly encouraged new graduates to take a rigorous approach to networking from home, including setting goals for time spent having coffee Zooms.
