The beginning of the Spring 2018 Semester was marked by an exciting announcement: *Culture Culture* by Christopher Gardner, *Sharing Economy* by Emily Po and Quentin Yiu (above), and *Armadillo* by Lizzy Zevallos have been selected as the three winning projects of this year’s inaugural [Buell Center Paris Prize](https://www.arch.columbia.edu/news/180125). This prize recognizes the work of Columbia GSAPP students whose studio projects most successfully address the terms and spirit of the 2015 Paris Agreement. Additional February highlights include an upcoming talk by [Dilip da Cunha](https://www.arch.columbia.edu/events/804-river-vs-rain-dilip-da-cunha), a lecture by [AGENdA agencia de arquitectura](https://www.arch.columbia.edu/events/810-agenda), and a one-day conference entitled ["Ways of Knowing Cities"](http://c4sr.columbia.edu/knowing-cities/) featuring keynote lectures by Wendy Hui Kyong Chun and Trevor Paglen.
