Sharjah Architecture Triennial
2020

Sharjah, United Arab Emirates CCCP/2020, a collective of current M.S. CCCP students, researched the format of the syllabus as a pedagogical tool and as a site of knowledge production and produced an installation as part of the architecture triennial.

Venice Encounters: Blind Dates
May 2018

Venice Encounters is a research project produced by the CCCP Class of 2019 that aims to analyze the 2018 Venice Architecture Biennale. The project includes a series of happenings based on a format of blind dates taken from the Hans-Günther Brüske-created documentary television series Durch die Nacht mit… (Into the Night with…). For the project, a selection of different curators and participants were paired up to follow routes across the interiors and surroundings of the Giardini and Arsenale, engaging in critical but informal conversations.

Faculty Mark Wasiuta curates *Frederick Kiesler: Vision Machines* at the Graham Foundation, Chicago.

The exhibition examines Frederick Kiesler’s (1890–1965) experimental design practice through the activities of his Laboratory for Design Correlation at Columbia University from the late 1930s to the early 1940s. The exhibition was organized by the Jewish Museum, New York, where it was on view earlier this year.
