Awarded at the time of admission, GSAPP scholarships for incoming students are competitive and are awarded based on recommendations by the program’s admissions committee.

All applicants are considered as part of the admissions review and there is no separate application form. Recipients are notified through their offer of admission.

2026-2027 Merit-based Scholarships

Columbia GSAPP provides merit-based scholarships for continuing master’s degree students who enrolled in 2024 or 2025. Awards are limited and selections are made based on academic achievement as documented in the application form.

Scholarships are disbursed as one-time awards in the Fall semester. The application for the 2026-2027 academic year will be available in summer 2026.
