2022 MSRED ALUMNI GALA
The 2022 MSRED Alumni Gala honored Ernst Valery ‘04 MSRED, Co-Managing Member of SAA | EVI a real estate development and investment firm focused on balancing solid financial returns, creating diverse, healthy, and stable communities, and promoting sustainable businesses and housing. The event featured remarks by Valery, along with Interim Dean Weiping Wu, Patrice Derrington, Holliday Associate Professor of the Real Estate Development and Director of the MSRED Program, Brian Loughlin '02 M.Arch as well as David Alexander '04 MSRED.
2019 MSRED ALUMNI GALA
The 2019 MSRED Alumni Gala honored Nicholas Bienstock ‘92 MSRED ‘96 BUS and Christopher Schlank ‘92 MSRED, Co-Managing Partners of Savanna, a vertically integrated real estate investment manager based in New York City and focused on strategic property investments throughout the City’s five boroughs. The event featured remarks by Bienstock and Schlank, along with Dean Amale Andraos and Patrice Derrington, Holliday Associate Professor of the Real Estate Development and Director of the MSRED Program.
2018 MSRED ALUMNI GALA
The 2018 MSRED Gala honored alumnus Stephen L. Glascock ‘91 MSRED, President & Managing Partner of Anbau, as the Recipient of the 2018 Distinguished Alumnus Award. The event featured remarks by Glascock, along with Dean Amale Andraos, Patrice Derrington, Holliday Professor and Director of the Real Estate Development program, and Adrianne Glascock '17 MSRED.
Stephen L. Glascock founded Anbau in 1998 based on the vision that “good design makes good business”. He currently oversees finance and construction for all Anbau projects. He has been active in real estate development in Manhattan for 25 years. Prior to Anbau, Steve was Senior Development Officer of Continuum Company. He was responsible for the development of the 101-unit Richmond Condominiums, located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. He also spent five years as Senior Project Manager at a New York City-based construction management company, building over 100 units of subsidized housing on the Lower East Side.
2017 MSRED ALUMNI GALA
The 2017 MSRED Gala honored alumnus Blake Hutcheson ‘89 MSRED, President & CEO Oxford Properties Group, as the Recipient of the 2017 Distinguished Alumnus Award. The event featured remarks by Hutcheson, along with Dean Amale Andraos, Patrice Derrington, Holliday Professor and Director of the Real Estate Development program, and Mark McGoldrick '89 MSRED.
Blake Hutcheson is the President and CEO of the Oxford Properties Group which has over $45 billion of assets under management and 2,300 employees in Canada, Europe and the USA. The business is highly respected globally and is an active developer of projects such as New York’s Hudson Yards, London’s “Cheese Grater” building, and Canada’s Yorkdale Mall. He is also the Chief Investment Officer of Real Estate and Platform Investments for OMERS overseeing approximately 20% of the OMERS $90 billion investment portfolio, including its energy and ventures business. Blake sits on several Boards, Committees and Government Task Forces in Canada. He has received several awards including the BOMA Icon of the Industry Award within Canada. Hutcheson is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, the London School of Economics (with distinction) and has an MS in Real Estate Development from Columbia GSAPP. He has been a tremendous supporter of our program.
