Venice Counter-Catalogue: A Guide to the 14th International Architecture Exhibition
The Venice Observatory was a month-long, student-led research studio embedded at the edge of the 14th Annual Venice Architecture Biennale. Stationed at the Emily Harvey Foundation Gallery, the studio’s team members carried out an array of critical inquiry projects, moving in and out of the Biennale environment and sharing their experiences and responses with the public in various formats, including discussions, performances, dinners, and other pop-up exhibitions. This counter-catalogue captures the outcomes of their endeavors and presents the fruits of their inquiries, embracing alternative modes of engagement and critique.
