GSAPP’s Commitment to Financial Aid

Columbia GSAPP is committed to support, empower, and launch the next generation of designers, thinkers, and planners. Columbia GSAPP is devoted to building on this success and to developing the supportive strategies needed to amplify the School’s unique ecology of diverse perspectives and ideas. In the spirit of shaping new scales of engagement across the built environment, we hope to:

  • Increase individual awards— including a minimum of three full-tuition scholarships
  • Incrementally increase the number of students who receive funding

Through the Core Excellence Scholarship Challenge, all new gifts made in support of endowed Financial Aid were matched—dollar for dollar— through discretionary funds made available by the School. Endowed gifts in support of financial aid are an investment in GSAPP students and a commitment to attracting the best students to the School.

GSAPP is grateful for the legacy and generosity of donors who have supported financial aid and have paid it forward for current GSAPP students. Learn more about these scholarships and the contributions from generous donors and their families.
