Career Services

Career Services at Columbia GSAPP strives to keep students in touch with the professional world beyond Avery Hall and professionals aware of our excellent students. Each degree program has their own dedicated Career Services Professional. Career Services organizes events ranging from Career Fairs, Workshops, Alumni Networking Events and Panel discussions. We want to serve students well, so please get in touch with your ideas and suggestions!

Alumni and Employers

ALUMNI

Looking for a Job?

Check out the LinkedIn Alumni Job Board, updated regularly. You must become a member of the group to access the board.

M.S.RED alumni have their own LinkedIn group, please contact Thelma M. Collado to gain access.

Please note that Career Services cannot accommodate alumni more than one year post graduation. However, CAA provides comprehensive Career support for alumni. Click here to learn more.

Want to mentor a current student?

The Alumni Mentorship program matches current students with experienced alumni, for the course of one academic year, based on mutual interests, geographic location preferences, student career goals and professional backgrounds. Mentors help students explore their career interests, discuss the transition from student to the professional world and often help make introductions to others in the field.

Are you an alumni and want to be a mentor?

Want to hire a Columbia GSAPP student for a semester-long Internship?

This elective credit-based internship course (1.5 credits) provides students with the opportunity to apply their expertise and skills in a real world setting. Students work with practitioners and industry experts to explore their interests in more depth and to expand their knowledge of working environments and career paths. Additionally, internships provide students with an inside view of their industry and the chance to develop connections in their professional network. All internships must be paid.

If your company is interested in working with GSAPP students during the school year, please contact the appropriate person:
