Thank you for accepting the terms of our Computer Use Policy. Your temporary password is gs@pp2017.

Please write down this password - it WILL NOT be emailed to you.

Thanks for activating your GSAPP account.

Now that your account has been activated, all that’s left to do is to log into a GSAPP computer (at any classroom or studio in Fayerweather & Avery) and update your password:

  1. Type in your user name (this is the same as your UNI)
  2. Type in the default password (provided to you after the user agreement page)
  3. You will then be prompted to change your password
  • If another user is already logged in, or the computer is locked, try clicking “Switch User”
  • If you are unable to login, try typing your user name as:
 GSAPP\uni (e.g. GSAPP\xyz1234)
  • Your password will need to have more than eight characters, one capital letter, one number, and one symbol.
  • If all else fails, you may continue to use the GSAPP/gs@pp2017 account/password (Please note though that the GSAPP account does not have printing access and will expire 09/16. Please see GSAPP IT in 206 Fayerweather before 09/16 to make sure your account is working)

If you have any other questions about your GSAPP computer account, or any other computer related questions, we will be happy to help you. Simply sign in to: https://www.arch.columbia.edu/help

and we will get back to you as soon as possible. If you are unable to login to the help desk, simply use the generic GSAPP/gs@pp2017 account/password, but don’t forget to let us know who you are and where your computer is located.

Thanks, GSAPP-IT
