Laura Poitras is a filmmaker, journalist and artist. Her most recent work is Signal Flow, an installation, film clinic and investigative reporting for the nomadic art biennial Manifesta 12. Her film, CITIZENFOUR, the third part of her post-9/11 trilogy, won the Academy Award for Best Documentary. Astro Noise, her solo exhibition of immersive works, opened at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York in 2016. Her reporting on NSA mass surveillance based on Edward Snowden’s disclosures shared in a 2014 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service. She is a co-creator of Field of Vision.
Henrik Moltke is an investigative journalist and documentary filmmaker.
He collaborated with documentary filmmaker and academy award winner Laura Poitras on Signal Flow for the 2018 art biennial Manifesta in Palermo, Astro Noise at the Whitney Museum in 2016 and the jointly directed documentary short Project X which screened at Sundance in 2017.
Moltke’s reporting has appeared in the New York Times, The Intercept, and the Danish daily Information. He won the 2014 Danish Investigative Journalism Award and was nominated for the Cavling Prize.
