A lecture by Professor Alessandra Capuano ‘84 MSHP, Director of the Department of Architecture and Projects, Sapienza Università di Roma.
Architect and full professor, Capuano is Dean of the Department of Architecture and Design at Sapienza University of Rome where she teaches Architecture and Urban Design Studios and Architectural Research Theory. She also coordinates the Erasmus+ Joint Master in Architecture, Landscape, Archaeology. Capuano has been Visiting Professor at Cornell University, Ohio State University, Universidade de Coimbra and many other institutions. She directs the Research lab BABEL_City, Architecture, Nature and is author of over 130 publications. In addition to her M.S. in Historic Preservation at Columbia GSAPP, she has a B.S. in Architecture and a PhD from Sapienza.
