Join us this Thursday for a lecture by Jessica Jeffrey and Lisa Mui, of MACRO, A Savills Company. This engaging presentation, titled “Developing a Career in Real Estate: How We Got Here,” will explore Jessica and Lisa’s respective career paths in real estate development and construction project management. As trusted advisors to Fortune 50 corporations, Jessica and Lisa’s technical knowledge, subject matter expertise, financial acumen, and interpersonal skills are critical to the success of their clients’ development projects. Jessica and Lisa will detail how they have translated a love for building into a career working with leading developers, architects and designers, master planners, and construction teams.

Jessica Jeffrey is a Director at MACRO, A Savills Company, with over 15 years of real estate development management and construction project management experience. An engineer by background, Jessica gravitates to the structural components of her projects. In addition to project and program management, her areas of specialty include estimating, contract negotiation, budgeting, and field management. Her broad experience across retail, residential, and commercial real estate assets enables her to identify potential gaps and to head them off before they become issues. A confident decision-maker and process-driven thinker, Jessica has turned projects from behind schedule to passing inspection ahead of schedule. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
Lisa Mui is a Senior Project Manager at MACRO, A Savills Company, with over ten years of experience in the finance and project management industries. As a graduate from Cornell University’s Hotel School and former investment banker, Lisa applies her service-oriented and analytical approach to ensure that her clients’ are completed on time and within budget. Adept in all phases of the real estate capital project life cycle, Lisa has managed projects totaling over $1 billion in value and 500,000 usable square feet. Lisa received her Master of Science in Real Estate Construction Administration from Columbia University GSAPP in 2022.
