ADJACENT 02 // DEVON TURNBULL (OJAS)

Wed, Apr 2    6:30pm

GSAPP ADJACENT, a student group focusing on broadening ARCH education via cross-disciplinary conversations, proudly welcomes OJAS for a conversation about his work & inspiration. OJAS is the creative pseudonym of Devon Turnbull, a designer of custom hi-fi audio systems.

OJAS audio equipment aims to bring realistic, natural sound to the listener. These products are the result of two decades of experimentation, engineering and explorations in the audio underground. Currently he has a semi-permanent installation “OJAS Listening Room at the USM NY. You may also recognize his hi-fi speakers at Public Records, Supreme stores and many other creative places. Mark Ronson, Virgil Abloh, Nigo, Daniel Arsham and many renowned record producers are among the admirers of his work.

Organized by GSAPP ADJACENT, this talk will be led by students Jana Marinovic, Dana Mor and Jennifer Marcos.
