MSRED ADC Guest Lecture: Jared Della Valle, Alloy Development

Wed, Feb 25    1pm

The MSRED Architectural Development Club (ADC) welcomes Jared Della Valle, architect and developer, for a conversation on Alloy Development’s vertically integrated model.

Alloy Development brings architecture, construction, and real estate development together under one roof. In this lecture, Della Valle will examine how that structure reshapes decision-making, redistributes risk, and influences long-term value creation. Drawing from Alloy’s projects, he will discuss how disciplined analysis and strong design can produce work that is financially sound and socially durable.

About Jared Della Valle

Jared Della Valle is the Founder and CEO of Alloy Development, a Brooklyn-based firm that integrates architecture, construction, and development. Trained as both an architect and a developer, he has built a practice that challenges the traditional separation between design and real estate.

His work centers on urban projects that align design excellence with long-term economic, social, and environmental responsibility.

This lecture is organized by the MSRED Architectural Development Club, which brings leading practitioners in real estate development and the built environment to Columbia GSAPP.
