How is architecture not just productive of, but also formed by the various ways in which we approach our subject?
As the culmination of a year-long series of workshops organized by the PhD students in architectural history and theory, this event will test an evolving set of theories on historical techniques, address pressing issues that emerge during the concurrent conference, and open up new questions through the possibilities afforded by a unique discursive setting. Do these differences or convergences amount to contemporary ideologies? What are the meanings accordant with the techniques that we utilize?
