Private Tour - Frank Lloyd Wright at 150: Unpacking the Archive

Sat, Sep 23, 2017    5pm

Columbia GSAPP students and faculty from the Historic Preservation program are invited to join Jennifer Gray, Adjunct Assistant Professor in Historic Preservation and co-curator of Frank Lloyd Wright at 150: Unpacking the Archive, for a private tour of the exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art.

Celebrating the architect’s 150th birthday, Frank Lloyd Wright at 150 invites new scholarly positions on this renowned figure and features approximately 400 drawings, models, building fragments, textiles, photographs, and films from the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation Archives, which were recently transferred to MoMA and to Avery Architectural & Fine Arts Library at Columbia University.

Please meet in the lobby of MoMA’s Cullman Education Building, located at 4 West 54th Street (between Fifth and Sixth Avenue) at 4:45pm on the evening of the event. Friends and family are welcome.

Space is limited, so please RSVP to Leigh Brown.
