The exhibition FUNDOS, by Lucia Koch, features five works by the artist: Rusticchella (2014), Architecture Samples - complete series (2011), New Development (2011) and the recent Sin Fin and SKY-X, this is a permanent intervention in space Of Studio-X Rio.
In her photographs or works done in collaboration with architects, Lucia works with architectural scales and objects, proposing a transformed experience of space and place.
Rusticchella (2014) is a photograph of the Fundos series, in which images of small packages or empty boxes are enlarged to the size of the room where they are installed, in order to create a virtual virtual tension of the space.
Samples of Architecture - complete series (2011), is a set of 17 pictures of interiors of boxes that refer in some way to a recognizable architectural space, most often experienced by the artist.
New Development (2011), also in the Fundos series, is documented through video. Member of the 11th Lyon Biennale, it was mounted on a billboard installed in the grounds of a ruined factory, anticipating the destruction of the building by real estate speculation after the opening of the show.
The two most recent works are collaborations with architects Marcos Acayaba and studio Sal-viGiorgi, who produced the Sin Fin (2016) - infinite funds for architecture - where the models of the “Casa do Lucas” by Acayaba and “Escada-estante” by Beto Salvi and Tuti Giorgi, are placed on a painted curve surface, on a chromatic transition created for each one of them.
The exhibition also includes the permanent installation SKY-X, in which the artist produces a chromatic interference in the skylight, filtering the ambient light of Studio-X Rio.

A Exposição FUNDOS, de Lucia Koch, traz cinco obras da artista: Rusticchella (2014), Amostras de Arquitetura - série completa (2011), New Development (2011) e as recentes Sin Fin e SKY-X, esta uma intervenção permanente no espaço do Studio-X Rio.
Em suas fotografias ou nos trabalhos feitos em colaboração com arquitetos, Lucia opera com escalas de objeto e espaço arquitetônicos, propondo uma experiência transformada de espaço e lugar.
Rusticchella (2014) é uma fotografia da série Fundos, na qual imagens de pequenas embalagens ou caixas vazias são ampliadas até a dimensão da sala onde são instaladas, de maneira a criar uma ex-tensão virtual do espaço.
Amostras de Arquitetura - série completa (2011), é um conjunto de 17 fotografias de interiores de caixas que se referem de alguma forma a um espaço arquitetônico reconhecível, na maior parte das vezes experimentado pela artista.
A obra New Development (2011), também da série Fundos, está documentada através de vídeo. Integrante da 11ª Bienal de Lyon, ela foi montada em um outdoor instalado no terreno de uma fábri-ca em ruínas, antecipando a destruição do edifício pela especulação imobiliária após a abertura da mostra.
Os dois trabalhos mais recentes são colaborações com os arquitetos Marcos Acayaba e estúdio Sal-viGiorgi, que produziram os Sin Fin (2016)- fundos infinitos para arquitetura - onde as maquetes da “Casa do Lucas” de Acayaba e “Escada-estante” de Beto Salvi e Tuti Giorgi, são postos em uma su-perfície curva pintada, sobre uma transição cromática criada para cada uma delas.
A exposição inclui ainda a instalação permanente SKY-X, em que a artista produz uma interferência cromática na claraboia, filtrando a luz ambiente do Studio-X Rio.
