Enrica Oliva

A Columbia University School of Engineering Alumna, Enrica Oliva, LEED AP is Partner and COO at Werner Sobek New York, as well as Director of the Structures Group at the Firm. She has over 10 years of experience in the field of Structural Engineering, ranging from the design of large sports facilities to high-rise construction, high-end residential buildings and prestigious Educational facilities. Her current work includes projects in Boston (Harvard University Campus), New York City, Chicago (IIT) as well as large-scale projects in the Middle East.

As a Project Engineer at Thornton Tomasetti New York (2007-2015), Enrica contributed to the design of the Barclays Center Arena in Brooklyn (Ellerbe Beckett and SHoP), the Edmonton Arena in Edmonton, Canada, and led the design of the 146 E126th residential building in Harlem, NY (Bjarke Ingels). She has been an Adjunct Assistant Professor at GSAPP since 2016 and is currently Visiting Assistant Professor at Pratt Institute School of Architecture.
