Miriam Harris

Adjunct Assistant Professor

Miriam Harris is the founder of MGH Advisory, a real estate consulting firm with a focus on public-private partnerships. Prior to starting her own practice, Miriam was the Head of Development and Construction for Priya Living, a senior living brand. Miriam also served as Executive Vice President of Real Estate at Trinity Place Holdings Inc. and Executive Vice President and Head of the Real Estate Transaction Services Group for the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC). At NYCEDC she negotiated transformational public-private development deals on behalf of the Bloomberg Administration such as The Cornell Tech Campus and Essex Crossing. Miriam began her career at Forest City Ratner Companies where she was instrumental in the development of The New York Times Building in Times Square as well as the companies’ hotel projects.

Miriam earned a Master in Urban Planning from The Harvard Graduate School of Design, an M.A. in Art History from the University of Chicago, and a B.A. from Swarthmore College. Miriam is an active member of WX - New York Women Executives in Real Estate and serves on the board of the nonprofit Building for the Arts New York, an organization dedicated to expanding access to the performing arts by providing creative space, learning opportunities, and hubs for artistic connection.
