Samuel Stewart-Halevy

Samuel Stewart-Halevy is a Doctoral Candidate in Architecture at Columbia GSAPP. Stewart-Halevy is also an architect and previously he taught as a Visiting Artist in the Architecture, Interior Architecture, and Designed Objects Department at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and as the 2013–15 Wortham Teaching Fellow at the Rice University School of Architecture. He has worked as an architect and editor in the offices of Guy Nordenson and David Adjaye in New York, and the Office for Metropolitan Architecture in Rotterdam. A graduate of Princeton University, his goal as a teacher and scholar is to work toward a theory of practice by uncovering the essential assumptions underlying the routines of architectural design and culture.
