The mission of the Center for Resilient Cities and Landscapes is to help communities thrive in an age of climate uncertainty through convening workshops and pushing the design, funding, and implementation of innovative infrastructure projects in a range of global contexts. Through related academic programming, the Center integrates resilience thinking into design education, bringing real-world challenges into the classroom to train future generations of design leaders. The Center for Resilient Cities and Landscapes is based at Columbia GSAPP and affiliated with the Climate School.
