2017-2018 Call for applications

Application

Application is now closed. A Membership Committee consisting of leaders within and outside of Columbia GSAPP will review applications and select members.

Criteria

Membership is only open to GSAPP alumni who have graduated in the past 15 years and who are U.S. citizens or already have a valid visa for conducting business in the U.S. Membership requires a year-long commitment, and members are expected to work out of the Incubator as their main project during this time. Applicants must have a body of work or project positioned at the intersection of architecture, technology, culture, and the city.

Schedule

  • June 1, 2017, 6PM: Information session at 231 Bowery
  • June 16, 2017, 5PM: Application deadline
  • July 3, 2017: Notification of acceptance
  • September 7, 2017: First day for members

Over the course of the year, programming will include:

  • Two large public events per year
  • Eight small Incubator events per year
  • Six member-led events for current GSAPP community
