Vibrant Dialogue

A space to activate conversations, conversations both from within and with others. A pavilion for contemplation and interaction, in which vibration is felt simultaneously through different senses. Visual vibration attracts passengers that enter the Columbia University campus and through a set of metallic mesh porticos, the transition between spaces becomes blurred and thus, it allows you to feel and become aware of the surroundings. As sound affects both our physical and mental realms, the sound inside the pavilion is highlighted. Gravel stones initiate with the porticos, allowing the visitors to feel the vibration from the eyesight through the feet, a mesh that covers the pavilion holds planters in which their growth and watering is sensed from another point of view and, metal structures create boundaries between spaces while becoming a vivid instrument that produces a sonic experience, through the vibration and contact of each metal, the dialogue is played. The pavilion stands as an almost invisible intermediary between those who wish to engage in different conversations, in vibrant dialogues.
