Buffer

The project seeks to fill the voids of New York City while envisioning the future of the city. On a larger scale, the project envisions a new network of streets that connects the city and on a smaller scale. The project encourages users to see non-places as an active space by engaging the surrounding community. “Buffer” confronts the future of New York City by creating a new layer that rethinks the public realm to heal our current cityscape where monumental scales and ambitions alienate our relationship with the city.
