“Mechanisms and Bodies” is an exercise of self-knowledge, a situated practice of understanding how I operate within the entanglements I am part of as an Architect and as an individual.
Therefore, by interacting handly with materials, I created objects that fit my body depending on its physicality, such as pain, bad posture, or fear. In this way, instead of making things, I mediate between all mechanisms involved in constructing surroundings, meanings, and our bodies. Consequently, the project is a medium where I had the chance to understand how my identity operates on a diversity of scales and how it is strongly related to the practice of architecture.
