The boundary between the man-made world and the natural has always been an interesting point of discussion. Sedona, where hiking trails and street systems dominated, is one of the most appropriate examples to research and design the relationship between these very opposite concepts. How does one deal with the abrupt rupture from the man-made streets to the hiking trail to the wilderness? What kind of junction should it be to deconstruct and reconstruct, or to say, to transform the human mental sprits from one world to another?
