This intervention reimagines public spaces to improve public transportation serviceability for people with various mobility, integrating ADA design into the landscape design. Responding to New York City Congestion Pricing Plan, which is a new funding source for improving MTA’s facility, the plan is to “borrow” space from road users instead of charging money, opening up the existing transportation facilities to construct a brighter, unenclosed space to accommodate new design for accessibility of public transportation.
