Pier 0 is a triage center that stands as a part of the urban infrastructure as well as a public civic space. As a response to the reality of excessive construction material consumption, Pier 0 aims to facilitate the need of urban maintenance through collecting and sorting construction waste from the city, and to exhibit such industrial processes to the general public so that they can increase awareness of material consumption as a form of architectural damage.
