TUBE - Spectacle of Automation

It is anticipated that by the year 2050, auto-piloting will be widely applied and replace human drivers in ground transport. TUBE is established to take advantage of this spectacle of automation, transforming the traditional truck stop into a container dispatch center that facilitates the transportation and accommodation of both cargo and human travelers. TUBE currently provides three types of tube containers, TUBE-C (Cargo), TUBE-L (Living), TUBE-S (Septic).

The TUBE center itself is designed to accommodate the circulation and movement of those tube units. The building is a large machine that consists of smaller machines and a kit of parts. From storage racks to the skybridge and to the parking deck on the façade of the tube hotel, all the small kit of parts can be deployed to different cities whether independently in a form of TUBE storage only or TUBE hotel only, or in a whole like the TUBE center.
