Reed Facade Module

Reed grass has been utilized for centuries in indigenous construction practices across the globe, owing to its abundance, and favorable material properties. Its historical usage underscores its durability and adaptability to various environmental conditions, making it a resilient choice for roofing systems. Moreover, reed grass is inherently eco-friendly, as it is a natural, renewable resource that requires minimal processing. By exploring the potential of reed grass as a roofing material, this research seeks to shed light on its properties, manufacturing techniques, and contemporary applications. Through a comprehensive analysis, this study aims to not only highlight the advantages of reed grass as a building system but also contribute to the broader discourse on sustainable construction practices and the promotion of eco-friendly building materials in the modern built environment.
