FloraFlow takes the platform of the Outdoor Plaza space near Pupin Hall as the site for investigation. It uses ultrasonic sensors, as well as manually collected temperature and humidity data, to detect people’s sitting behavior in different microenvironments specifically during lunchtime. After gathering and evaluating the appropriate data, it intends to make recommendations to users about the optimal time and spots to sit on the platform.
