The semester culminated in a combination and understanding of two various wall/material assemblies, one being CMU blocks, the other being Wood rings. Using grasshopper, Jenga, Karamba, and other modes of digital and mental computation, the group devised multiple mini model wall assemblies combining the two material types. Through structural, aesthetic, and conceptual modes of analysis, the group strived to blend the two typologies using multiple precedent studies in hopes of achieving a finalized combination/derivation.
