The project integrates a holistic food recycling system that spans multiple interconnected spaces: the urban farm, open kitchen, bio-lab, and façade system. This innovative framework reimagines the food cycle, where food flows from farm to table, and ultimately transitions into bio-sourced materials that contribute to new forms of life. Central to this process is the transformation of microorganisms derived from discarded food, which are traditionally seen as waste, into valuable, sustainable materials. These microorganisms serve as the cornerstone for developing new biocomposites, thus enhancing the potential for a circular food system.
