Reflection (2025)

Project by George Guu

MATERIAL: SS Spoon, SS Nuts, SS Washers, SS Threaded Rods, Aluminum Sheets, Aluminum Foil, Wood Blocks DIMENSION: 18 in. x 12 in. x 11 in.

Swallow before reading. Inhabit the system. Reflection of one - bears full weight and span of the system. One sees others masked. Others see one partial. As time goes by, partial becomes the one recognized instead of full; masked is the new identity and unmasked invalid. Reflection of two - shares consequence. Two act in sync while communication is mumbled. Some sort of new intimacy established with close proximity and obscurity. Reflection of three - reaches equilibrium. The system is embraced. There is also possibility to embrace others if one another is willing to. Enlightened like the discovery of fire and light.
