OOO (TLC)

Project by Aye Aye Tha Esther Su @esthwe @hoeuvre

Here is a clinic operating at the intersection of treatment and education. Here, clinic is a convening for instruction. Here a clinic is for learning.

OOO, The Learning Circle is a proposal for an education clinic, offering after-school resources and support to middle and high school students residing in Manhattan Community Board 10 and studying in District 5 of the New York City school districts.

This clinic protects and strengthens every child’s right to education. The proposal repositions the space as an educational clinic that offers support for public schools and families. It acts as an extension of school, and as a bridge between the formal school experience and the intimacy of home. The space sees itself as a middle ground and serves as a learning center and educational advocacy clinic.
