Remediating the Wing

Project by Jonah Johnson @jonahjohnson11

The Sackler’s regime, a former engine of opioid profit, spanning OxyContin production, sales spectacle, and institutions of high cultural capital has reached its reckoning. In 2025, Purdue Pharma was inverted into a public trust for repair, catalyzed by protest and codified by a $7B mandate. Within the former Sackler Wing of the MET, an outpatient rehab facility now wraps the Temples of Dendur, transforming cultural capital into clinical care, as a continuation of the court ordered remediation of the Sackler’s orchestrated addiction of the American people.
