The Palace of Pneumatic Labour transforms the former Michelin rubber plantation in southern Vietnam into a radio-navigated, workers’ club. Inflatable structures made from the plantation’s last latex support muscle rehabilitation and leisure activities —re-framing histories of labor, war, and extraction into a new communist social infrastructure, while radio establishes a common language of frequencies for the humans and the rubber trees of the plantation.
