FLUJO TIR - Reparative InterINTERmodal Transportation

Prjoect by: Manuela Hurtado, Susana Chinchilla, Deepanksha Gillakamsety, Yi-jou(Zoe) Lin

What if transportation could repair more than just mobility? Prioritizing social and ecological urban development, Flujo TIR aims to co-locate social programming, waste management, and transportation hubs to fill urban and civic gaps in Tijuana. Our project operates as a reparative platform for connectivity, running on an alternative social currency that simultaneously creates systems of ecological awareness and civic repair. By exchanging knowledge, collecting resources, and participating in the construction of social infrastructure, communities are energized to care and maintain their neighborhoods, while promoting coastal culture in Tijuana.
